This is a wierd question, but I had to ask--is it possible to embed a graphic in an mp3 file itself? For display of album covers, etc. This came up while I was transferring MP3's to my Xbox. The way Xbox Media Center works is similar to Windows--if you have a folder.jpg, it will display a thumb for that folder and share that thumb for all files within that folder. But you can also create a PNG and change the extension to .tbn to make a thumb for anything--for example, movie1.avi and movie1.tbn.
Anyway, what happened was, there were *NO* .tbn's or jpg's in the folder--every single mp3 was showing a blank thumbnail. Except one, which displayed it's own thumb (and as I said, there were no .tbn's for it nor a folder.jpg). I looked through all the audio player software I had installed, and nothing had an option to add thumbnails to the mp3 itself--the most I got were progs that would cache thumbnails locally (and therefore the thumb would not transfer to the Xbox). I could in theory create a .tbn file for each and every mp3, but that would make my music dir hideously messy. If anyone knows of a program that can do this, or an easier way to do this via XBMC itself, help would be much appreciated.
