Ive installed flash player 8, and everything ran fine audio and video wise, but I recently installed the Ace Codecs Pack, and audio doesnt work anymore in flash files. I uninstalled the Ace Codecs Pack, but problem persists! Ive even uninstalled and reinstalled firefox, macromedia flash player 8, I've tried everything! I come now to 4chan for your sage advice.
HALP ME PLZ!

Nothing? Nobody? The Macromedia site doesnt help at all and after looking at their forums, the problem must be widespread.

It doesn't really sound like this would be the problem, but it's the only suggestion I have... Do you have Quicktime installed? (i.e., did it come with the Ace Codecs Pack?) Last time I tried to use QT, it wouldn't let Flash Player load .swf nor would QT even play most of them. Maybe something is sticking around even though you uninstalled the pack?

Qt didnt come with the pack as far as I know. I just uninstalled qt to try out whether that was the case. Nope. Ran tweakpro reg cleaner and everything. Nada. Appreciate the response though. God I hate formatting.
