Right i got new neighbours, and i purposely unlocked my wireless network so they would go on it.. and they have. i wana sniff their traffic and see what shit they are doing on my network. im gona try out ethereal... any other suggestions?

In answer to your questions, Ethereal is alright but i could never really get it to work well for me. Ngrep and tcpdump are my standbys.

ethereal is the shit but there are a lot of issues with windows and monitor modes on those devices. As far as I can tell, a lot of the wireless devices in windows cannot directly enter a monitor mode and sniff all the packets being sent through the air.
There is a much better explanation of this actually on the ethereal website.
