Best Mobo for 4000+/7800GTX

Name: Anonymous 2005-12-28 11:29

I need it to be able to support:
4GBs Dual Channel DDR400 RAM
4 SATA II HDs
The standard USB mouse/keyboard, maybe a joystick/gamepad on the side
A DVD Burner & CD Drive
SLI-ready is a plus
A good sound card
Good ethernet connection
ATX-design
Runs Cool and Quiet

I realize I've just described about 90-95% of the high-end mobos out right now, but which board gives the best performance/least problems for this setup? There are about 5 different ones for the same chipset by ASUS alone.

A little pricey but I expect that. Thank you very much!

Don't go eVGA. Off the top of my head, i can tell you that the DFI Lan-Party nF4 is a good mobo. I'm assuming socket 939 processor and PCI-E GPU.

Though a little pricey: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813136151

Uhhh, you do know that the DFI Lan-Party mobos have many many problems with the construction of the product right? Leaky caps, bad electronic engineering, bad solder joints, reused parts.

Ya, I know you knew that. Please refrain from ever advising ANYONE to buy a DFI Lan-Party. Just a hyped up piece of junk ment to be sold to wannabe gamers with riced up computers.
