seeing as how windows xp doesnt support drives bigger then 137GB out of the box, how might i go about installing windows? is a partition the drive into smaller chunks (which i plan to do anyway) will windows see all the partitions at their full size? thanks.

i should be getting the drive in the mail any day now, so im hoping to find the answer by the time it gets here.

First, does your motherboard support a drive that size? If so, skip ahead.

Answer: You need to make a "slipstream" version of your XP installation disc, containing Service Pack 2.

That site will tell you how to do it. Once you've got your slipstream XP cd ready, you can install on your 320gb drive without a problem.
