Proxies

I read a lot about people using proxies and what not.  What are proxies, and how do I go about getting one?

"Proxies" is short for "proximity servers".  Basically, servers you connect to in order to hide your real IP from people.  You need something like Proxyway or some over program that lets you connect to the proxies.
