Speakers don't work, but head phone does

So, I have a Creative Insipre 5200 (one of those shitty 5.1), and I havn't used the speakers in a while, only a headphone though the headphone jack.  Now None of the speaker or subwoofer generates sounds at all! WTF?!?

I know that it was OK a few months back, since the subwoofer worked fine (speakers not hook up).  When I decided to hook the satelite speakers up today, nothing would work, but sound will come out through the Head phone jack of the Volume controler when pluged in.

I'm sure that everything is hooked up right, so anyone know what the hell is up with my spekaers?  Or did they simply just crap out? (unlikly, only almost 2 years, and hardly used for the past almost half year)

Maybe you want to hook up the speakers instead of the headphones, or failing that, unhook the headphones.

May be that wasn't clear.  The Head phone is pluged through the Volume controler of the speaker system.  You do know that most speaker systems has a head phone jack do you?

Go back and find some newer drivers for the card.  I would suggest going to Major Geeks and finding on there.  They have a huge list compiled there, and as I had a problem with my free card and teamspeak....I got that fixed very easily.  Some problem with my mobo.  Uninstall your old drivers, and then install the new ones from MG.  See how that works and update us.
