Hana-bi

I recently downloaded the Japanese movie Hana-Bi. It says that it has subtitles but the subtitle files are TXT files and not srt or sub files. How can I cahnge it?

have you tried to look for the sub file somewhere else?

Have you tried to rename? Use the same base filename as the video with various subtitle extensions unil one works.
Maybe you could also try to post the first 10 lines, maybe somebody could recognize the format from that.
