changing language on XP

ok I know that you can change some of them by using the control panel but the real important and basic stuff such as start menubar, drive labels, my music and picture folders. This is sometimes really critical because I can't install some stuff from other languages because they can't recognize the startbar language and just cancel the whole installation. OMG I"M SO PISSED OFF. IS THERE ANYWAY TO CHANGE THE WHOLE DAMN LANGUAGE??!?!?!

You can't change the whole language, but you can change the language that Windows claims to be.  LIke, all your shit will still be in English, but if you change the "default language for non-unicode programs", etc, you should have no problems. I've done with for JApanese, and no problems at all.

What programs are you having trouble installing?
