MSPaint

hey guys, I'm one of those pixel artists that use nothing but MSPaint to make  graphics for this game thingy.
but a problem has occured, every time I've tried loading it I get an error in MFC42.dll.
I've tried resetting and I've also tried reinstalling the dll off dll.com.
help me guys, I've got a big project I have to work on!

(ps: photoshop= teh sucks for pixel art and psp= only used for file conversion due to the fact It takes about ten times slower to make pixel art in it)

No, no. Just put in the CD you installed Windows from (or the Windows CD that came with your computer). Click Start, choose Run..., and type cmd (followed by enter). The command window will then open, and you just enter the first command in post 4, followed by the second one. This purges the file cache and copies any corrupted DLLs from your Windows CD back to the hard drive. I know you said you tried to replace MFC42.DLL with a downloaded one, but you're better off replacing it with the one off your install disc. DLL downloads should be a last resort when you can't find a missing DLL, not the first port of call. Good luck!
