Default Picture Viewer HELP

Okay.. >.>; I seemed to have messed up and now Windows Picture viewer is no longer the default picture viewer. I can still view with them, but they come up as dead files before the preview. How do I set Windows Picture and Fax Viewer back to the default?

I'm no expert but try this, when you get to a file you want to use with Windows Picture Viewer
right click on file>Open With>Choose Program>choose Windows Picture and Fax Viewer & checkmark box that says 'always use selected program when opening this type of file' _THEN_ click OK
you should be good.  If you do this for say .jpg files, you'll probably have to do this with .png and .gifs too.
I recommend using Irfanview to see files, tons quicker, better.  Rename files, move files, resize files, rotate.. are all commands you can do with a touch of a button.  I only use Windows Picture and Fax Viewer for watching animated gifs as Irfanview sometimes won't show the animation.  I guess it used the memory cache preloading too many images
