Monitor signal to TV AV?

I was thinking of connecting my computer up to a TV via A/V connection to act as a DVD player, etc. My graphics card does not have a Video Out, but it does have the standard monitor connection (VGA?) and an S-Video. Is there a cheap adapter to convert either signal to A/V, or will I have to upgrade my graphics card?

A vga to tv(all kinds) adapter is really expensive.

s-video to A/V adapters exist and are usually cheap enough to be bundled with most graphics cards. That is your best option, though I think thats the standard "TV-out" method for video cards.
