BitTorrent Crashs

wtf is up with BT o_0
Whenever I start it and let it run, not mattering what BT Client I use, it crashes in the middle of the download. With my whole comp.
Currently I'm using ABC, which crashes less. Before, I used Azureus, which crashed even more (probably because of the Java-shit it's programmed on).

Anybody got an idea how to solve it?

Check your network card drivers? Also how many things are you running in the background at the same time.

How old is your OS, and how old is your hard drive?

both around 2 years.
Windows XP, Seagate 120 GB.
Running in Background while BT runs, mh.. MSN, Opera, that's it. And checking the Network Card Drivers is kinda senseless, since I'm forced to use ISDN (at least I have a fckin Flatrate for that shit x_o)

whats your bsod say.

it's either network or memory. probably memory, thought. Change your ram around. Try using the official stable client, that's definitely going to be the least likely crasher.

the issue probably isn't shitty java code, it's heavy java memory coupled with your shitty ram sticks. anything that actually USES memory, like games, benchmarking, high mathematical calculation, or emulation, is going to find out whether your hardware sucks.

don't discount the possibility that it's network too, though, because BT REALLY taxes your network. i've actually broken cheap NICs with BT.

Not even a BSOD. Everything freezes.

768 MB DDR Ram, works fine for everything actually. o:

do a torture test

that, or check your Event Log, it might show what happened when it froze.
