Sending big ass files

I need to send my friend a 1 and half gig video file and his connection usually cuts off so im looking for a simple & convenient file sending program with resume transfer and no transfer/file size limit. Can any reccomend a program other than yahoo or msn (they are unreliable and have file transfer limits or no resume option).

just cut the file up into 1 meg chunks and send them seperately.
