Another linux thread.

So I've always been a windows user and would like to try linux for the first time, I've already picked Ubuntu 5.04 "The Hoary Hedgehog" to try out, but there's too many guides when I try to google, so would anyone recommend links with user-friendly guides?

Breezy's out now, get that. If you've already installed Hoary there's an easy way to upgrade but I forget how (I'm not an Ubuntu user).
