New Computers Software

Well after using a WinME system for quite awhile, I am finnaly getting a new AMD64 rig with WinXP. So with the transfer to a new OS means potental for better software to be used on it, so I am wondering what programs people use around here. Stuff like DVD burning and backing up, Firewalls, Antivirus, video and graphics editing, etc... basicly anything you use in the way of apps.

Web browser: Mozilla suite or Firefox (Thunderbird for POP/IMAP mail), never use MSIE
DVD burning: Nero (not the Express version)
DVD imaging/virtual drives: Alcohol 120%
Backup: RAR
Firewall: I don't know, I use a hardware firewall
Antispyware: Ad-aware and SpyBot
Antivirus: AVG Free
Video codecs: Uninstall all, just use FFDShow
Video player: Don't get that Windows Media Player shit, use Media Player Classic, ignore DRM (digital rights infringement) and never fall for it
Video editing: Don't know, I don't do that
Image viewer: ACDSee 3.2 free (adware but no spyware, and not bugging nor slow)
Image viewer with database and stuff: ACDSee 7.0 (slower for viewing, hence why I use both 3.2 and 7.0)
Image editor: Paint Shop Pro 9 (90% as powerful as Photoshop for 10% the price)
Text editor: Ultra-Edit 32 (commercial) or PSPad Unicode (has some bugs)

The environment from where you manage your files, launch software, use a command line, view files and understand how it all works, save system resources (you may very well unload Explorer.exe), and cut file management down by 95%: FAR Manager
