Please Activate AGP for consistancy (help t_t

I just got a new labtop, and whenever I try to play a graphic heavy game i get this message
"The game may not be consistant because AGP is deactivated. Please activate AGP for consistancy.

Im not a very smart person when it comes to computers, and have searched abit for the answer on google and asked a few friends, but I cant figure this out. I have a feeling it is because of this that my labtop is running hotter then it should be.

How do I activate AGP? What is it exactly?

AGP stands for "Advanced Graphics Port." It's a graphics card port that was designed to replace PCI slots for graphics cards. It's now been supplanted, in turn, by PCI-Express, but a lot of AGP cards and motherboards are still around.

You're using a laptop, which almost certainly means you're using integrated video on the motherboard (as opposed to a separate graphics card). Integrated video usually is lower in performance, since the chipsets aren't as advanced and the CPU does the graphics processing (if you have a card, the card's GPU takes over). If your game doesn't play, you probably can't play it on the laptop. If it works, just ignore the warning.

It's the CPU that does vertex shading, at least in Intel chips, so most of the work is done by the GPU (a wild guess on my part would be it does about 60-75%).
