subtitles

I've started finding that more and more of the stuff I'm getting these days are ogm files instead of the "cheapo" avi fansubs of yesterday. So now I've started venturing into the world of audio tracks, and subtitle viewers. My question is, what is the best utility to use for switching subtitles/audio tracks and what player to go with it? I've been using zoom player, and it seems to work fine on the first file I play (using ogg splitter), but when it proceeds to the next file in the playlist, all the settings get reset, and I can't get it to go back to the japanese audio track AND disply english subtitles. It will only do one or the other.

So, to summarize: What is the best player/swither combo to use"
