Yahoo booting methods

I was in a yahoo chatroom typing my favorite George Zimmer jokes when suddenly someone said " Im fucking tired of that sick shit you are booted!" and out of nowhere thousands of IM windows popped up with messages and buzzes. How did this happen?

Maybe it's because the George Zimmer stuff isn't as funny as you think it is.
