What would you all recommend?  I've been using FlashPeak SlimBrowser, but, is that not a good one to use?  I'd prefer one with multiple tabs for going between sites in one window.

Opera is probably the best browser I would recommend

Because nobody else seems to be trying to help get you Firefox users on the right track with internet browsers. Opera is faster and uses less RAM that FF so I think I know which one is the better choice

Opera also has a tenth of the features I expect in a modern browser. At least Firefox has a decent extension system.
But the question wasn't why you fanboy Opera, but why you bump three-year-old threads.

To spread the word about opera to you firefoxfags. You obviously dont know much about internet browsers if you would take your stupid FF with its extra features that make it less streamlined so it doesnt run as optimised as opera and it uses way more RAM

Lynx and Links are favorite browsers of mine. If you're using X11 I'd recommend GNU Icecat. It keeps up with the firefox upstream but it's more friendly for people that only tolerate free software on their machines.
