TEXT BOARDS

How many people here post on both the image boards and the text boards?

I only get on here.

I was banned from 4chan in 2005 and since I have a static IP I hang out in the textboards instead. Due to work I've pretty much been out of the loop as far as memes or fads go.

I'm gonna start posting on here since Egypt's ISP has been blocked.

Sadly, the imageboards are coded better. Also, I can't post pictures here, but only some nerdy ASCII shit. Also, my chrome extension won't work here.

Shit sucks, but I need a chan. So, this is the third best there is.

You know that there's somebody out there who is still on the shittiest dialup connection there is and can only manage a very basic text-board for online interaction. Like, I'm talking Afgani Goat Herder bad.

I'm hoping more people migrate over here.  Textboards are the tops.

So, anyone know when the image boards will be working again?

I've just started using the text boards.  I like them, so far.

I just found out there is a text board

But textboards are my fave. <3

On both currently. Was on the imageboards 04 to 06 maybe and in that time world4ch came about and campaigned in the imageboards with daddy cool and vipquality and their message resonated with me. By whenever it was, I got bored of the imageboards and was spending more and more time here anyways. Spent most of the time since then on here but with a break for a year or two until now.

I still prefer text boards since I care more about discussion than lolimages, both as a principle and for entertainment, but the text boards aren't what they were when they were first introduced.

I don't doubt there are people who only come here still, I really just go to the imageboards to observe the behavior of the kids on there today. For those who don't go, rest assured you're still better off.

I would like to be here more because it seems like it has potential to be better than the image board. However, it seems the only thing going on is people coming here when the image board is down so they don't miss one second of their precious general threads.

Do the mods even know that text boards exist?
I mean.. a large amount haven't actually been here that long. or it seems that way

They know they exist, they only get rid of certain spambotting and other posts with links to highly illegal content it seems.

Plus this place gets bombed with so much botting they only care or have time enough to take care of the bare essentials.

I most stay in terminal, so I don't bother with imageboards. I'll read them sometimes, but thanks to the captcha script, I don't post there.

I like supporting the textboards. They have life in them yet.
