Death by Spam?

Dear Sir or Madam:

/co/ is being egregiously befouled by a shitstorm of spam.  It is annoying; it is distressing; and it is compounding the troll-induced nausea.  Is there anything we can do to counter these spambot twats?  Or must we suffer in silence?

Wow, this is my first time on the text board. I didn't think there'd be any problems like this. Yikes.
