Who is a good female character?

it can be from comics, cartoons, manga, anime, games, etc.  Who do you consider a good character, and for what reasons? (multi-dimensional personality, realism, attitude, emotions, mad skills, etc)

Girls of Games that are good:

Tifa Lockhart - Final Fantasy VII and AC - Any girl that can kick ass with their bare fist PWN! Plus she has a gentle sweetness about her that I find attractive....being that my girlfriend is much like her! ^_^ (lucky!) + BIG (.)(.) are always welcomed by me! :)

Dizzy from the Guilty Gear Series - I don't know much about her personality but she has an AWESOME character design.

KOS-MOS from the Xenosaga series - coldhearted....probably because she's a super destructive android with a HUGH ARSENAL OF EVEN HUGHER GUNS. She sometimes shows that she be human too and open up emotionally....some what.(with out the facial expressions) T_T;

Kairi from KH2 - simple and clean describes her just fine + here more matured look reminds me of my previous girl firend.....*sobs*

Manga/Anime Girls:

Kanu Unchou - Battle Vixens(manga)/Ikkitousen(anime) - Reminds me of Tifa because she's a strong fist fighter(with a shockingly similar character design to Tifa)...but she also uses a halberd :) She tends to be very intimidating in the manga

Ren from DearS - Because I want to be her master! >;)

Lucy from Elfen Lied - Because each time you experience pain it slowly turns to lust! *wink wink*

I guess I can be like Spike from Cowboy Bepop and say "I love a girl who can kick my ass!"
