What do you-all think of Mercedes Lackey's Obsidian Trilogy? I read it (and fucking LOVED it!) but the second trilogy was as boring as fuck-all. Ooh, they're in the desert. Now they're walking through the desert. Angst, angst, angst. That was the Phoenix trilogy.
