Book on economics

Hi,
I'm interested in reading and studying a book that makes an attempt to pretty much cover everything there is to know about economic theory.

Kinda like a modern equivalent of Adam Smith's Wealth of Nations that teaches you everything and in a systematic fashion.

Any suggestions?

economics is far too broad a subject for that. principles of microeconomics by greg mankiw is the first textbook most econ undergrads will use.
