I've always been a fast reader and i can comprehend what im reading while i do it to... Personal best all the harry potter books took two days 1) 7am to 9pm 2)7am to 630pm

I find small reason to speed read literature. It's useful for study and work-related reading. But I like to enjoy books.

i always have been a great speed reader. i usually can finish 2 300 pagers in a day (7am to 9pm, maybe later) i also have been always able to keep track of all the facts while i do it.

I've used EyeQ for 3 days, and then came back to it for 5 days

I don't know if I've seen much improvement - although I do "read faster", my comprehension isn't as good as sitting down and reading it carefully.

I think taking notes on a book is more important than how fast you can read and retain it. Most movies and novels can be summarized down to a 20 minute tv show script.

I'm dead serious. Not everyone enjoys enduring the bullshit that Lord of the Rings forces you to read. The movie is actually a summary of a summary of a summary.
