Second-Hand Fantasy/Sci-Fi Books

Name: Anonymous 2010-06-11 2:38

Because I am (or was) a cheapskate, I've been going into second-hand bookshops and buying a ton of cheap fantasy and sci-fi novels for a quid or so each; only now, looking at my bookshelves and seeing quite a few rows of these cheap paperbacks have I realised that I've gotten addicted to these books, blowing upwards to thirty pounds in one go; only to do it again in another bookshop a few days later.

It's having a huge impact on my other book-purchasing habits; I've reached the stage where my mind balks at paying more then a fiver for a book (except if it's historical; that's my other weakness.)

Anyone else in a similar situation?
