I need a book

An addictive book, something that will get me hooked and will make me forget about things that I should forget... I'm a girl btw if that helps you think about what to suggest. Thanks in advance.

Uh but. This isn't an image board. You can't post pictures here

"Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell" by Susanna Clarke. A solid combination of wild faerie magic and Jane Austen, but nowhere near as shit as that description sounds. Short on plot, long on character and setting.

Otherwise, the usual stuff people recommend in every other thread. Crime and Punishment, etc.

Twilight. End of thread.

Every time you tell somebody to get back on /b/, it just draws attention to their post and makes the thread (and you) look lamer, next time shut the hell up please. /book/ is not a sanctuary, nor is it *your* sanctuary.

OP, read anything by Walter Moers. I have the worst life ever but whenever I read a Zamonia novel I forget about all my problems, best escapist fantasy ever. Unless you don't read speculative fiction, in which case you should just DIAF.
