I don't really think there area any books that "everyone" should own. No matter what book it is someone is bound to fuckin hate it.

Wow, I came to this thread to suggest that anyone who loved books would perhaps (I wouldn't say any book is a "must read") find it fulfilling to read If On a Winter's Night a Traveller...
