I recently finished Neuromancer and absolutely loved it. What are some other essential cyberpunk novels?

The Demolished Man and The Stars My Destination by Alfred Bester is all you need to read.
Written decades before cyber-punk and the post modern wankery that followed, the two did it first and did it better.

I don't see those books as cyberpunk, but regardless of their subgenre affinity they're very worthwhile to read.

What about Cryptonomicon ? Worse than Snow Crash. I have Cryptonomicon but didnt read it yet.

i heard vurt was awesome

and while not the same 'cyberpunk' as the rest of them, lord of light has its on spin on the theme.

pretty much, a few humans with hyperadvanced technology rule over a colonized planet where they restrict access to tech, and take on the guise of hindu gods while using cloning and mind transfer to 'reincarnate'
