Stephen King

I'm a huge Stephen King fan, have been for years now. I read The Stand, and The Shining, and I was hooked for life. Well these last few months I've been on a Stephen King binge, reading all of his short story books and re-reading a few of my favorites along with some new ones.

What I'm ultimately getting at is that King has gone downhill. Looking back I read Cell, then Duma Key (I didn't bother reading Lisey's Story) and now I'm reading Just After Sunset, and the quality of his writing has just seemed to...well, it's not like it used to be. It somehow feels forced now, not even natural. And this new book coming out, Dome (I think?), it looks like its going to be another loser.

I just wanted to vent that. Because as a Stephen King fan I am really dissapointed.

i liked it to, and duma key as well, but its just that the quality of his writing has gone downhill. do u kno what it is that Stephen King was trying to recreate the "epic" feeling he had in The Stand? CELL was that recreation, and it was no where near as good.
