writing

So, how many of you besides reading books, write anything? Be it novels, poems or even books.

I currently decided to hop on the bandwagon and start writing stuff, if not only to improve my verbal skills. I feel it may help in some of the issues inside me head too, since i'm forced to think of things in lots of different ways. I know it's going to be pretty much impossible to get anything published ever, but it's worth a try and probably better waste of time than video games.

"Does anyone find it tough to write your characters do things you would yourself feel embarrassed doing? I guess I just have to grow up a little as a writer.."

Yes, but you do them anyway because if you writing it get a reaction from your own mind, it will also elicit a reaction from the reader.
