Scifi == pedo? wat?

I just got "Year's best SF13" at my bookstore. I almost always stick to older (50's, 60's, 70's) Scifi, and I thought I would give some modern short stories a chance. Anyway, the first story in it is basically child porn. It's about a 9 yo girl and her friends at a slumber party watching porn and playing with Dildos and other sex related activity. The only scifi element I can find is some strange slang (though it may be do to the original work being in Finnish) and that it takes place in 2015.

Now, I'm not complaining about it, I just happen to find this kind of thing strange to be in borders. Or outside of /l/. Can any modern scifi fans confirm if gratuitous swearing and sexual behavior is present in most modern scifi works? Or is this a special case?
