I always pick the book by it's cover and name, why? The only author that gave shitty names to decent books was Roger Zelazny.

Fantasy books... if I see a book has a fantasy type cover (ala TOR) I stay the fuck away.

Most shitty books I've read have had awesome-looking covers. I judge books by the prologue or first chapter.

i read the last page and then if the ending is awesome then i read the rest, because nomatter how good a book is in the meat of it, if the ending sucks then its wasted time. kind of like assassins creed. lol
