children's books

looking for more children's books or fable like books that adults can still enjoy.

already read the graveyard book, coraline, and the thief of always (especially liked this one).

Brave Story by Miyuki Miyabe (sp?) was pretty awesome. Supposedly a kids book, but a little dark.

A Wind in the Door, an Wrinkle in Time and a Shifting Planet (forgot author) are great, if you come back on them with the ability to understand things such as a tesseract.
