Audiobooks

So /book/, first time I've been here so forgive any wrongs I may unwittingly perform.  The questions I have are 1) How much do you like/dislike audiobooks/books on tape/etc.? 2) Where do you get yours? Do you buy 'em, library 'em, downloaded 'em for free?

Thank you in advance.

I really like listening to audio books.  I have a rather long work commute, so it's a nice way to pass the time and I don't have to listen to shitty radio shows in the morning.  I only listen to audio books I have already read, though, so I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything.

Anyway, I get mine from work (where I can borrow them for free) and from the internet.  My favorite reader so far is Simon Vance, who I thought did an awesome job reading "The Count of Monte Cristo" and "The Idiot".

The libraries around here actually have a really nice selection of audio books, that wouldn't be a bad place to try looking if you're curious.
