15 percent off anything at B&N

Suggestions for things to get? I'm open to anything.

Actually, 25 percent because of my card. Either way, I'm on a 9 day break and I need a good book to read. Preferably something involving music, whether it fiction, biography-- just anything that's a good read.

Hope it's cheaper than used books at Amazon, or a used book store, or a thrift store.  I know how tempting those B&N displays are.

Amazon is usually cheapest. But, uh, do you have any preferences in books? That would make recommendations a lot easier.

I'll list some books that I read recently, see if you like any of them:

- Guns, Germs, & Steel ; Collapse -- Jared Diamond
- A Confession -- Leo Tolstoy
- Laughter in the Dark -- Vladimir Nabokov
- The World is Flat ; Hot, Flat, and Crowded -- Thomas Friedman
- The Last Lecture -- Randy Pausch

Here's a great book you may have never heard of:
In The Night Cafe by Joyce Johnson. Read it. The rest of her work fails but this is a real gem.

Fuckers took the BN membership off the BN credit card.  I'm not carrying around ten damn cards just because you don't like the economy.
