this site shows images and texts and lets people choose what they prefer, it works like some real test. i don't know how, but it could be helpful to categorize millions of tastes on book.

this is my test result:

Fastidious Critic
Place for well-organized originality, creative perfection
Likes: intelligent content with artistic value
Dislikes: small-time celebrities, soap operas, boy bands

Name: Anonymous 2009-03-04 4:10

Gracefully Feminine
Place for something decent, noble, non-explicit
Turn-ons: intuitive, tender, poetic content
Turn-downs: monotonous reality, mechanical justice

Hmm. But honestly, I mostly thought the selections to be equally good/bad, the "choose the words you like" to be equally likeable, and the negatives to be pretty similar. I don't think this test copes well with my particular constellation of tastes, which may include gracefully feminine.

People of this territory have those common aspects.

    *
      Smells like OK spirit:
We usually say OK to something conceited, ugly, out of shape. We are generous.

    *
Make it fresh, keep it fresh:
We want something newer, rarer, more unique constantly. To be chic… that is the question.

    *
      My taste is ever enigmatic:
Even though we may be pleased by something new, we may deny arts or writings that are too progressive. Unexpectedly, we may also find some ordinary pop items pretty likable.

    *
      Cultural messenger:
We have a talent to find diamonds in the mud, like great underground musicians, independent movies that nobody ever heard of. We tell people about them.

This sounds rather fitting. Those tests always scare me.

This reminds me of an occation where I printed a picture of a crush of mine (black and white printer lol) from her myspace, cut a hole in where her mouth was, and put my dick in it, and started jacking off.

more detail:
"All progress has resulted from people who took unpopular positions."

- Adlai E. Stevenson

This area is for people with altering tastes. We are both intellectual and intuitive, logical and creative, strict and generous, systematic and liberal. Some people call us double perfectionists.

We deny celebrities talk shows, yellow journalism, paparazzi, love-triangle dramas, Adam Sandler movies, puritans, Islam fundamentalists, politicians who supported communication decency act, racists, feminism extremists, and machos.

We have those same qualities.

    *
      Difficult:
We may have fastidious tastes, but have a lot of likes.

    *
      Hail to simplicity and lucidity:
Things should be precise, arranged, stainless. Highly-skilled temperance, clear-cut expressions, perfect causality… these are important in creating jobs.

    *
      Curse on something unnatural:
We have little Interest in popularity. We are interested in sincerity, bona fides, faith and frankness. We are hard to be misled by pretense or sham.

    *
      Culturally enlightened:
We like brainy, profound, sophisticated, critically-acclaimed content. We are comparably generous to extreme or unfamiliar stuff.

    *
      Hostile to uniformity:
We have a contempt for colorless monotony: same, obvious, plain, secular content is simply pitiful.
