Rousseau

I've started reading Rousseau's Social Contract.
He seems so immature and gullible the reading is becoming somewhat exausting and depressing.
anyone been through this?

I've read it in my spare time. I think it's a great book. There's a line in it that says we trade in our natural right to take what we want in exchange for the legal right not to have others take our shit. Beautiful.
