I've read A Scanner Darkly, Do Androids Dream, and Lies Inc.
How is VALIS and Ubik? I hear they are pretty heavy shit. Not to say his other works aren't...

I've read Androids, of course; The Penultimate Truth, Lies, Inc., The Crack in Space, The Man in the High Tower, VALIS, A Scanner Darkly, Flow My Tears, Confessions of a Crap Artist, The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch, and The Transmigration of Timothy Archer. Along with many of his short stories.
Obviously I'm a fan, and I kind of find myself associating him with Richard Matheson, in that they both have such a vast body of work with the same themes running throughout, and I read them in chunks-Say two or three at a time- that I have some minor difficulty remembering what the story is about when I'm finished. I'm left with more of an impression than an idea. Anyone else have that?
