Alright, so I read 'Salem's Lot and loved the everliving hell out of it. I've also read some of his short stories and loved them, too. I'm thinking of getting The Gunslinger and starting the Dark Tower series. Are they as good as his other books?

Also, general King thread.

I personally prefer his "real" stuff. Like Misery and The Green Mile. Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption is just beautiful, no comparison to the movie. Everything in Different Seasons is good though. Apt Pupil, The Body, Breathing Method. Great stuff there.

I loved The Colorado Kid, too. Totally different, but I read it in one day.
