Twilight

Has anyone read this book and is it as shit as the movie? Also is it really a Mormon housewife's sexual wish fulfillment?

Is there really, abusive relationships, incest, pedophilia, and no sex before marriage?

Would you recommend this book or recommend me seeing the movie instead or stay clear way from both?

I read the first book and more or less skimmed through the second. If you have any respect for yourself, don't touch them. They are plague. Yes, there are abusive relationships (Edward is a possessive asshole who gets away with everything because he's hotter than anyone who could possible exist) but it's more or less just mental abuse and veiled under "He really just does it because he loves me and he's SEXY." Not really any incest, though, that I read at least. And there is pedophilia if you consider that Edward is technically about 80-something (and a virgin) while Bella is 18 or something. And, sadly, the sex before marriage thing is very true.
