He was the author that my friend used to get interested in reading. I feel kind of empty now. I thought the man to be a literary genius. I loved some of the characters he came up with, most noted being Doniger(Prince of Assholes) from Timeline.

Jurassic Park is what first got me into reading, Im very saddened at this. A lot of people didn't like his books but JP, Lost World, Andromeda Strain, Sphere, Congo, and Timeline were all amazing.

I tried reading Jurassic Park when I was 8, I failed miserably, couldn't really understand it, was even bored by it. I got it from the library recently and couldn't put it down. This man is a great author, and will be missed.
