Kurt Vonnegut

I've never read Vonnegut before, but now I have.

Is he considered good or bad or what? I've read Cat's Cradle, which started awesomely and ended awfully. Tried reading Slaughterhouse 5, but it was shit, apparently. What are his better novels, and does he even have anything longer than short novellas?

Thankee. Going to read that right away, and I actually like his style, so I'm having great hopes.

Galapagos, Mother Night, God Bless You Mr. Rosewater, Sirens of Titan. Still haven't finished Slaughterhouse 5, and didn't care enormously for Breakfast of Champions. The four I mentioned here are my favorite.

Some of his short stories are nice too.
