Very weird and disjointed plot but still very entertaining. I like to think if it as Lovecraft's version of Dante's Inferno but he goes to altogether stranger places then hell.

I actually don't know what "high-order" means, but, since all excuses for Lovecraft's poor writing skills are pretty much clear these days; and you say that "high-order writing" is one of them, apparently; this concept of your's isn't of much interest or usefulness except clinical and historical, neither of which have anything to do with quality storytelling or prose.
