What's the worst book you've read?

Truecrime by Jake Arnott has to be THE worst book in fucking existence.

In The Name of Conscience by Nikolai Khokhlov is a close second. It's the only book I stopped reading due to it's massive amounts of fail.

"Biedermann und die Brandstifter", a play by Max Frisch. Compulsive read in my school. I've read fanfiction that was better. As if Germany had never produced any good authors and we need to read mediocre Swissfags.

Did you read the Old Testament or just the New one? I admit the New one is pretty boring (save perhaps the final prophecy of John), but I think anyone who's a little into fantasy will enjoy the Old one. Get a decent translation into modern English though, stay away from that KJV shit.
The New Testament is only good if you're into history, because it explains a lot of stuff. For example, at one point Jesus says that hygiene is unnecessary, which I believe ultimately led to many pandemics such as the Black Death.
