What's the worst book you've read?

Truecrime by Jake Arnott has to be THE worst book in fucking existence.

In The Name of Conscience by Nikolai Khokhlov is a close second. It's the only book I stopped reading due to it's massive amounts of fail.

Read the odyssey by Homer.  Fcking epic tale of war

Ulysses is nothing but rambling nonsence!

I have to say, most likely Albert Camus' 'The Outsider'. Existentialist masterbation, boring to read - Especially if you think that the mentality is outrageous.

Not a bad book per say, but I just finished Parasite Eve and I'd say it was the stupidest thing I've read since I was foolish enough to glance at a couple pages of Battlefield Earth.

Read the odyssey by Homer
How painful is this to read? I want to get some ancient masterpieces under my belt.

Ugh...

Battle Circle... I can't remember who it's by, but if you see it... run in the opposite direction.

It's the first of three books in a mad-max type theme and I forced myself to read it for a friend, but the next is far worse and I had to say no.

I only got as far as the second paragraph with book two.

Finnegans Wake, hands down

I only needed to read the first page to agree with you.

What's that meant to mean?

Owl in Love by Patrice Kindl.  Read EXACTLY like a bad fanfiction.  I only got a chapter or two in before the urge to vomit overtook my curiosity.

I even tried again two years later, to the same effect.

My god, is that even literature?
