No you idiot, when you're about to die, the few days/hours ahead are all that matters. Because after them you'll be dead regardless. It doesn't matter if your life rocked or sucked or people liked you or not, because whatever they're going to do after your death, you'll not be around to experience any of it. They might build you a statue or piss on your grave, you'll never know and it's completely irrelevant anyway.
This whole nostalgia and clinging to the past shit is why people eventually turn into boring retards at some point in their adult life.
