Trying to remember the title of an old series

There was this old book series I used to read when I was younger.  It followed the "lives" of a bunch of kid ghosts who had died of horrible accidents.  They weren't able to really interact with the world like ghosts do normally, rather, they could do something like punch someone in the ear and they would feel as if a fly was crawling around on there.

The only other way they had of communicating was through a computer which, for some reason, one of the dead kids was able to use to type out messages to still living people.  Basically the ghosts would go around looking into things that would be too dangerous for live people and then go back and report it to the living folk and help bring bad folks to justice.

Does anyone remember the title of the series?
