Thomas Harris (silence of the lambs, hannibal, hannibal rising)
Robert Rankin (the Brentford 'trilogy', the dadadedada code, the brightonomicon)
Terry Pratchett (going postal, the amazing maurice and his educated rodents, night watch)
Neil Gaiman (American Gods)

Chances are you have probably read most of the books on that list but if you haven't give them a go.
